ISAT Week

This week all Illinois students in grades 3-8 will be taking the ISAT. The Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) measures individual student achievement relative to the Illinois Learning Standards. The results give parents, teachers, and schools one measure of student learning and school performance.

Students have been working very hard to prepare for ISATs and we're confident the students will work very hard at putting all this wonderful preparation into play.  We are looking forward to a great week. The following are some tips on preparing for ISATs:

  • Be well rested by going to bed early.
  • Eat a healthy breakfast.
  • Bring brain food to school for lunch.
  • Burn off energy each day by getting some daily exercise.
  • Your brain loves fresh air, so don’t stay cooped in the house-go outside and play.
