Welcome to the River Grove School Education Foundation

This past spring, a group of parents and concerned citizens helped create the River Grove School Education Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to generate funds designed to provide and enhance educational programs for students of District 85.5 The Foundation is also committed to encouraging community and civic involvement with the public school.
This organization is in the process of receiving status as a charitable organization as defined by the Internal Revenue Service. Corporations, grant programs, other charitable foundation will be solicited by the River Grove School Education Foundation to accomplish their purposes. In addition, local events will be sponsored by the Foundation to encourage participation with the school as well as to generate financial support for programs that will directly benefit the students of the school.
The Foundation is hosting a CharityMania fundraising effort which involves the purchase of electronic music or other electronic media for $20. In addition, the voucher can be used to participate in an activity that corresponds with the National Football League's 2010-2011 schedule. Please see any member of the Foundation for additional details or to purchase a voucher.
Another future event will be a dinner/silent auction that is tentatively set for Saturday, February 12. Additional details will be shared as the school year begins. If you are interested in joining the Foundation or following their activities, please contact Kathie Bruce at 708-574-1474.
