PBIS

What is PBIS?

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture and needed for all students in a school to achieve social, emotional and academic success. At River Grove School we focus on Safety, Respect, and Responsibility.

How does River Grove Elementary school reward students who demonstrate PBIS?

Every staff member can recognize students with a Royal Reward.  To earn a Royal Reward, students demonstrate the positive Safety, Respect, and Responsibility by following COOL TOOLS.

What are the royal rewards good for?

Students will turn in royal rewards for various celebration items.  They may include grade level celebrations, popcorn days, raffles or special assemblies.
