District Report Cards

Dear River Grove School District 85.5 Parents:

It is our pleasure to share with you the 2011 School Report Card for River Grove Elementary School. This report, prepared by the Illinois State Board of Education, shows statistics about our school during the 2010-2011 school year. We are glad to have this opportunity to communicate as fully as possible with our parent community. The information contained in this report is important because it offers a statistical survey of our district’s facts and figures, and compares them to state averages. The student test scores in this report are those of last year’s 3rd through 8th grade students. The Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) and the Illinois Measure of Annual Growth in English (for English as a Second Language students) were developed to measure individual student growth toward state academic standards and benchmarks. Please read this report carefully. The data on the 2010-2011 School Report Card shows that the majority of students continue to make consistent academic progress from year to year.

No document can completely describe the diversity of our school programs and population. We are very proud of our students, their achievements, and the dedicated efforts of our staff to help all students reach their full potential in every area. Please do not hesitate to call Mr. Grieshaber or Dr. Bartelt at (708) 453-6172 if you would like additional information.

Sincerely,

Dr. Jon Bartelt
Superintendent

Mr. Glen Grieshaber
Principal
