Mixed Choir Takes 1st Place
River Grove School is proud to announce that the Mixed Choir received a 1st Place in the IGSMA State Championship Tournament on Saturday April 23rd. In prior IGSMA events, the River Grove Mixed Choir was complimented for the strength of the voice, volume, with which it sang. Precision in singing correct notes in harmony with good annunciation, tempo and inflexion all must come together perfectly to achieve this award.
The teachers and administration are proud of this accomplishment and wish to commend the students of the Mixed Choir and their director, Mrs. Laura Trout and the accompanist Mrs. Deborah Boisse.
