Curriculum Integration Ideas
This site provides an extensive (nine pages!) list of activity ideas for using word processing, spreadsheets, databases, desktop publishing and more, all sorted by subject area. The list is maintained by members of the instructional technology team for the Berrien County Intermediate School District in Michigan.

U.S. Census Bureau
Why not use authentic data to create tables, spreadsheets and graphs? Perhaps you can set up an interdisciplinary (math and social studies) unit. This site also has teaching materials for grades K-4 and 5-8.

50 STATES.com
This site lists information about each of the 50 states as well as our commonwealths and territories. Have students look up information about area, weather, population, origin of state names, and lots more to create their own database.
