Strategic Plan

Dear River Grove School Community,

We are proud to present this District Strategic Plan to the River Grove School District 85.5 community. As the goals of the former Strategic Plan, in place from 2017-2022, were accomplished, the Board of Education worked with consultants to provide a survey to all community stakeholders including staff, parents and Village of River Grove community members. The survey was provided in English, Spanish, Polish and Ukrainian. The goal of the survey was to receive feedback from all stakeholders on their perception of the state of the school and district, and to identify areas of focus for the next Strategic Plan. Thank you to everyone who took the survey to provide guidance to the Board of Education.

We are thrilled to share that overwhelmingly the perception of River Grove School is positive and feedback suggested the district keep moving forward on its current path. The Board of Education developed three long range district goals along with strategies and key performance indicators.

We are sharing this plan with all River Grove community members to demonstrate who we are as a school district, what we are committed to, and where we are going. River Grove School is an amazing school, providing a strong education, along with many opportunities for students, and adults, to find and develop their passions. We hope this Strategic Plan gives you confidence in the future of RGS.
