Hello RGS Families!
It is my privilege to serve the River Grove community as principal of River Grove School. From the very first moment I stepped into RGS, I could feel the positive energy and strong sense of community. I am honored and thrilled to be a part of the Royals Family and humbled at the opportunity to lead a school with such hard-working students, talented staff and a supportive parent and school community. 

I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than twenty years, and have worked with students ranging in age from Pre-K through 8th grade in a variety of roles. I’ve been a Pre-K teacher, a self-contained elementary classroom teacher, an EL teacher, and have taught all core subject areas at the middle school level. I have served as a district administrator and prior to joining RGS, I worked as a 6-8 instructional coach. I join Dr. Rashid and the Board of Education in their mission of continuous improvement and providing well-rounded opportunities for students. I am dedicated to life-long learning and look forward to my continued work alongside the wonderful educators at River Grove School.
