ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance is a primary factor in a child’s academic success. Students who attend school regularly are more likely to pass reading and math assessments, and those who are chronically absent in kindergarten and first grade are much less likely to read at grade level by the end of third grade. By sixth grade, chronic absence is a proven early warning sign for students at risk of dropping out of school. We ask that you make every attempt to have your child attend school everyday s/he is well.
