Preschool Programs at River Grove School

River Grove School District 85.5 hosts two half day (one AM and one PM)  preschool classes that combine  3 and 4 year old children who qualify for either Early Childhood Special Education or Preschool for All. 

The Early Childhood Special Education Program (ECSE) and the Preschool For All Program (PFA), are funded through grant funds from the State of Illinois. There are strict criteria for children to qualify for each program. The ECSE program requires children to be eligible for special education services. And, the PFA program utilizes a screening process and a checklist for family and childhood risk factors to determine eligibility.

Unfortunately, River Grove School does not have the space to host additional PreK programs for children who do not qualify for ECSE or PFA.
